Summer Leadership Institute (SLI) is TASB's flagship training conference designed to offer new and experienced Texas school trustees a place to create their own learning journey.

Join school board members from across Texas for professional development, networking, and collaborative learning.

Who Should Attend

  • School board members (new and experienced)
  • School district personnel
  • Education service center board members

Track Options

This year, we have three different registration "tracks" that you can choose from for your trustee:

  • General Attendee: For those who plan to attend the full conference
  • Texas Trustee Institute: Training designed for newly elected school board members (Two-day program)
  • Board Officer Institute: In-depth training for board officers or those aspiring to be an officer

What's Included

  • Three breakfasts and two lunches
  • Refreshment breaks and receptions
  • All conference materials
  • Access to all general and breakout sessions
  • Networking opportunities with peers across Texas
